More and more studies are proving the effectiveness of fungal ingredients, so mycotherapy is becoming increasingly well known and popular. This book introduces you to 14 selected medicinal mushrooms in detail with which you can strengthen the immune system of sick animals and thus gently support their healing.

The author, Wanda May Pulfer, born in 1978, has more than 10 years of practical experience as an animal health practitioner for body therapy, Chinese medicine, dietetics and naturopathy. She acquired her extensive knowledge over many years through training and further education as well as self-taught and self-study.

She found mycotherapy in 2007 through the TCM therapist she knew and now president of the Swiss Society for Medicinal Mushroom Science (GFVS), who recommended medicinal mushrooms to her to treat her own dog. From 2010 to 2014, Wanda May Pulfer worked at the GFVS as a consultant for animal owners seeking advice.
As a trained mycotherapist and pioneer of animal mycotherapy, she was the first animal health practitioner in Switzerland to develop knowledge about the effects and use of medicinal mushrooms on animals through long research work.
